Senior Frontend Engineer

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Centrix, you will be pivotal in assembling and leading a team to develop a cutting-edge omnichannel communication platform. This platform will empower businesses to interact with their customers seamlessly across multiple communication channels.

Your role will involve overseeing the architecture, user interface development, and the integration of various communication channels such as voice, messaging, and cloud-based solutions. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, backend engineers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to create an intuitive and efficient user experience. You will be responsible for driving the technical aspects of our omnichannel SaaS product, ensuring scalability, security, and smooth performance.

Tasks:

• Lead the development of the frontend architecture for an omnichannel communication platform.
• Assemble and manage a team of frontend engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure smooth integration of design with functionality.
• Create and implement responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications.
• Ensure seamless integration of communication channels (voice, messaging, cloud storage, etc.).
• Work with backend engineers to define APIs and ensure smooth data handling across channels.
• Drive technical decisions related to frontend technologies and architecture.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for the frontend codebase.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and scale web applications to ensure the best user experience.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of the product roadmap.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the frontend team.
• Lead regular code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Maintain an awareness of emerging trends in frontend development and apply them to product development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in frontend development, particularly in SaaS or cloud-based products.
• Proven track record of leading frontend teams and successfully launching web-based products.
• Expert proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services into web applications.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Familiarity with web performance optimization and responsive design.
• Experience with state management tools like Redux or similar.
• Understanding of the product development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex issues into manageable tasks.
• Experience in working with version control systems like Git.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with continuous integration, deployment, and testing workflows.
• Passion for keeping up with frontend development trends and new technologies.
• Experience in building or maintaining Design Systems is a plus.
